WAKA, WAKA, WAKA

Wow... Wakarusa was truly incredible. I don't even know where to begin... The festival is held in such a beautiful setting, surrounded by mountains. As a whole, everything is much more laid-back up on ol' Mulberry than at Bonnaroo. Obviously, the music was fantastic- Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros were wonderful, as were Fitz and the Tantrums, Pretty Lights, Girl Talk, Umphrey's, Primus (!!!), and so on... We formed a little festival family with our neighbors and some other kindrid spirits we met up on the mountain - those people will have a special place in my heart for forever&ever&ever.

I wish I could fill you in on all the many, many beautiful memories I made along the way but I'm sort of finding myself at a loss of words. It's difficult to adequately describe such an amazing experience. So, at the very least, I hope these photos give you some insight into the beauty that was Wakarusa 2012.

XoXo,
Ang
