Disposable cameras are THE.BEST. There are so few surprises left in our daily lives. Especially these days, in the digital era when you can inspect a picture one second after snapping it to decide whether or not it's worthy of sharing on your Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/Blawg etc. etc.

I love the imperfect beauty that comes with these little disposables... Because really, isn't it the true and honest memory we are trying to capture when we take a photo? And not how perfect the memory looks?

The 7th picture in this post means the world to me. It's a memory I am so, so, so very grateful to have been able to capture. It was the last day of the festival. All of our cell phones were long dead and the rainy weather forced me to leave my DSLR back at camp. The honest joy in this picture is so obvious, so transparent. It had been a coincidental, highly-unlikely reunion... one in a sea of tens of thousands of people. A reunion we were all so happy to have had. It is, without a doubt, my favorite picture from our entire double-festival-extravaganza and a memory I will cherish forever&ever&ever.

Until next year, my beloved Bonnaroo.
